BEN WILLIAMSis a stone carver based in the Cotswolds town of Charlbury in West Oxfordshire.
Passionate about working in this craft, he is interested in both traditional letter carving and sculpture.
Ben loves the permanence of working with stone; the care it takes to carve the letters; knowing what you create will be around for a very long time – the sense of leaving your mark.
Working in this way also has personal connections, as his late father Peter was also a letter carver, sculptor and painter, and a big creative influence on his life.
Trained by nationally renowned carver, Alec Peever, all Ben’s work is hand carved into natural stone using traditional methods and tools.
He is available for commissions including lettering and reliefs on signage and memorials.
